Buy Sell A Home
  All States
I own a home with my sister who is living in it rent-free. She is not interested in purchasing my half. I'm not getting any use or value from the property. What are my options?

You can bring a partition action and force a court to divide the property. That will spur a settlement. The Court will have the property appraised for sale and either of you can buy at that value, which is sometimes below market value. There are various steps in the process which can lead to a settlement.
