Real Estate Law - Buy Sell A Home - General Questions

Our neighbor who has easement rights to his property located behind our home will be shortly selling his property. Do we have any say as to who gets the easement?
The access easement "belongs to" the land, not to the neighbor. Whoever buys the property will own the easement.

If there is a dispute as to the easement, you can raise the issue with the neighbor, but do so carefully with the advice of an attorney in order to avoid being accused of "interfering" with the neighbor's selling of the property.
